The Tortoise Project
The Tortoise Project
Some VERY exciting news…we have teamed up with Free Me Wildlife for this project which is an amazing collaborative movement in setting an ethical and legal release protocol in place for the responsible rehabilitation of indigenous Tortoises in KZN.
Free Me Wildlife invested four years in developing this process and are not far off setting this into play.
This process has involved numerous conservation authorities and specialists and now with A Rocha teaming up in assisting us with indigenous gardens for food and the development of a specialized rehabilitation and release enclosures, there are no limits…
Wade Whitehead (FreeMe Wildlife CEO) and Murray Tessendorf (A Rocha South Africa CEO/Director) seen here with a magnificent Leopard Tortoise.
Your contribution financially or otherwise makes a meaningful difference to conservation and hope.
